What sizes can I order the Top Vent over Fixed + Fixed window in?

Any size from 700mm to 3000mm wide and 730mm to 3030mm high, to the millimetre. These are overall sizes: the height includes the cill, so without one the range is 700-3000mm. 3000mm is the widest frame we make. It can't be narrower than 700mm, which allows at least 400mm for the vent and 300mm for the fixed pane. 3000mm is the tallest frame we make. Our measuring guide shows how to measure the opening.

Can I get this window the other way round?

Yes. The Fixed + Top Vent over Fixed is the same layout mirrored left to right: the top-hung vent sits on the right instead of the left. Left and right are as seen from outside, so pick the one that suits the room.

How long does delivery take?

Typically 5-14 working days. Each window is made to order in our Worsley, Manchester factory, and we confirm the delivery date by email. The frame arrives with its handle, hinges and lock fitted; the three sealed glass units travel separately, and any cill and trickle vents come loose, ready to fit. We supply only. Our supply-only windows page explains what's included and what you arrange.

Top Vent over Fixed + Fixed

The stack is on the left this time: a top-hung vent over a fixed pane, with a full-height fixed light to the right. Same three panes, opposite handing, useful when the vent needs to sit over a radiator or away from a door swing. Made to measure, supply only.

About the Top Vent over Fixed + Fixed window

The Top Vent over Fixed + Fixed window is split into two columns. On the left is a top-hung vent over a fixed pane; on the right, a full-height fixed pane. One of the three panes opens; the other two are fixed. Left and right are as seen from outside, as on the drawing.

The top-hung vent, hinged along its top edge, gives secure, controllable ventilation. The two fixed panes have no sashes, so more of each is glass. Sizes run from 700 to 3000mm wide and 730 to 3030mm high, to the millimetre; they're overall sizes including the cill, as our measuring guide explains. 3000mm is the widest frame we make.

Before you order

Measure the opening

Measure brick to brick in three places, use the smallest figures, then take 10mm off the width and the height. That's the overall size you type into the designer, cill included. Our measuring guide shows each step.

Order and delivery

Each window is made to order in our Worsley, Manchester factory, typically in 5-14 working days. How buying works covers each step from order to delivery, and delivery and collection covers the area, prices and free collection.

Fitting

We supply only, so you or your installer fit the window. Our guide to fitting a uPVC window covers the job, and toe and heel packing explains how to pack the glass so the sash opens and closes freely.
