uPVC casement windows, made to measure
A casement window is a window with sashes that open outwards on hinges (side-hung like a door, or top-hung as a vent), usually combined with fixed panes in one frame. It is the most common replacement window style in the UK, and it is the style we specialise in: every window we sell is a made-to-measure casement built in Britain from Eurocell's Eurologik chamfered 70mm system.
You design the window yourself on this site: pick a layout, type your exact millimetre sizes, choose colours, glazing and hardware, and the price updates live as you go. Prices start at £45.34 inc VAT for the smallest fixed window and £101.46 for the smallest window that opens; delivery is extra. We make it at our Wardley factory in Worsley, Manchester, typically in 5-14 working days, and deliver it to your door. Supply only, so you or your fitter install it.
Layouts: fixed, side-hung and top-hung
Casement windows are built from three kinds of section. Fixed panes are glazed directly into the frame and don't open. They're the cheapest and let in the most light. Side-hung openers are hinged at the side and swing outwards fully, which makes them easy to clean and the right choice where you need a fire escape opening. Top-hung vents are hinged at the top and open outwards at the bottom, good for night-time ventilation in any weather.
Our designer lets you combine these in one, two or three columns with optional top vents, and you control where every mullion (the upright bar between panes) and transom (the horizontal one) sits. The drawing is to scale at your sizes, so what you see is what arrives.
Sizes we can make
Windows can be made from 300mm to 3000mm wide and 430mm to 3030mm high overall, cill (sill) included, depending on the layout; each style's page gives its own range. Side-hung openers run from 400mm to 900mm wide and up to 1300mm tall; top-hung vents take a drop between 400mm and 1300mm. Individual panes are limited by the glass sheet: every pane must stay within 1299mm in one direction and 2300mm in the other. The designer enforces all of these limits as you type, so you can't order a window that can't be made.

- Eight frame finishes including anthracite grey, blackbrown, golden oak and rosewood. Woodgrain foils are textured like real timber, and you can have a different colour inside and out
- Key-locking cranked espagnolette handles in five colours, driving multi-point locking around the sash
- Optional cills (85-225mm), frame extenders, trickle vents and five Pilkington obscure glass patterns

Frequently asked questions
- What is the difference between a casement window and a sash window?
- A casement window opens outwards on hinges; a sash window slides vertically. We manufacture casement windows only. They seal better, cost less and suit the vast majority of UK homes.
- Can I use a casement window as a fire escape?
- Yes, a side-hung opener is the usual fire escape option. Where a room needs an escape window, Building Regulations ask for an opening of at least 0.33m², at least 450mm high and 450mm wide. That can be a ground floor room as well as an upstairs one; our Building Regulations guide explains when. Our designer has a fire-escape toggle that sizes the opener for it, and every side opener has egress hinges as standard.
- How much does a made-to-measure casement window cost?
- The price depends on size, layout and options, and every price on this site is calculated live as you design. The price on each style above is a complete window at its smallest size (the size under it), in white with 28mm double glazing and a 150mm cill, with trickle vents where they fit, white handles and the standard key-locking espag lock on the opening sashes; where a trickle vent doesn't fit at that size, the price is without it. - Do you fit the windows?
- No, we are supply only. You measure, we manufacture and deliver, and you or a local installer fit. Our guides cover measuring, installation and what a supply-only purchase involves.

- Are your casement windows A-rated?
- Yes. The standard 28mm argon-filled double glazed unit with warm-edge spacers achieves an A window energy rating in the Eurologik system: BFRC licence 3220, for the Eurologik 70 Casement. Triple glazing is available where you want lower U-values still.
