The smallest opening window: Full Top-Hung Window, an opening window, 500 × 430mm overall, white inside and out, double glazed (28mm), clear glass, 150mm cill, trickle vents: 2000 (300mm), white handles, standard key-locking espag (espagnolette) lock. Each price opens the designer at that configuration.
Prices include VAT. Delivery is extra: priced by straight-line distance from our factory (M28 2LY) to your postcode district, from £30, to mainland Britain addresses within 300 miles, not Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands or islands reached by ferry. Made to measure windows are built to the exact millimetre sizes of your replacement opening, not cut down from stock. Type the width and height and we manufacture the uPVC frame to those numbers. We supply only: you measure and order, we make and deliver, and you or your fitter install.
There is no surcharge for odd sizes and no "standard size" premium logic. The live price is calculated from the actual frame metres, glass area and hardware your window needs, the same way our own factory software costs it.
How it works
- Measure your opening brick-to-brick and deduct 10mm each way. Our measuring guide walks through it with diagrams.
- Pick a layout (fixed, side openers, top vents or combinations) and type your sizes. The drawing rescales to your exact proportions.
- Drag the mullion (the upright bar between panes) and the transom (the horizontal one) to where you want them. The designer keeps every section within manufacturable limits.
- Choose glazing, colour, cill, handles and vents. The price updates with every click.
- Add to basket and order. We manufacture and deliver; you or your installer fit.
Size range and manufacturing limits
Windows are made from 300mm to 3000mm wide and 430mm to 3030mm high overall, cill included, depending on the layout; each style's page gives its own range. Within a frame, side-hung openers can be 400-900mm wide and up to 1300mm tall, top-hung vents take a 400-1300mm drop, and fixed sections run from 300mm. Glass sheets set the pane limits: each pane must stay within 1299mm in one direction and 2300mm in the other. These aren't arbitrary rules. They're the real constraints of the Eurologik system and the glass units, and the online designer enforces them so an unbuildable window can never reach the basket.
Why made-to-measure beats standard sizes
Replacement openings are rarely square and almost never a catalogue size. A 1950s semi and a 2010s new-build won't share a brick module. A stock window means shimming, oversized silicone joints and trickier weatherproofing. A frame made to your survey slots in with an even 5mm packing gap all round, which is faster to fit, easier to seal, and looks right from the street.
Built in Britain, priced honestly
Windows are fabricated in our Manchester factory in Eurocell's Eurologik chamfered 70mm system: six-chambered, A rated as standard (BFRC licence 3220) with 28mm argon-filled units. Because you buy factory-direct with no salesperson and no installer margin, the price you see is the manufacturing price plus delivery, and it's shown before you give us any contact details.

- Where can I order made-to-measure windows?
- You can order made-to-measure uPVC windows directly from our website. Pick a window style, enter your width and height in millimetres, choose the colour inside and out, glass, cill, handles and trickle vents, and the price updates as you go. Each window is made to order at our Manchester factory, typically in 5-14 working days, then delivered or ready to collect. Because every window is made to your sizes, we can't take change-of-mind returns, but you can cancel free until we confirm your delivery or collection date.
- Do odd sizes cost more?
- No. The price is computed from the actual frame metres and glass area of your window, whatever the numbers are. A 1234×987mm window prices exactly the same way as a round-number one.
- What if I measure wrong?
- Made-to-measure goods are manufactured for your opening, so check your sizes carefully before ordering. Our measuring guide shows exactly how, and the same brick-to-brick measurement is used by every professional surveyor. If you're unsure, measure twice or have your installer confirm the sizes.
- What's the smallest and largest window you can make?
- The smallest is a Picture Window (Fixed) at 300 × 430mm overall, cill included. Across our layouts, windows run from 300mm to 3000mm wide and 430mm to 3030mm high overall, with opener and pane sizes inside the frame governed by the system's limits. The designer applies them automatically.
- Can I have different sizes for each section?
- Yes. Column and row splits are fully adjustable in the designer: set a 650mm opener beside a wide fixed pane, drop a top vent to 400mm, and the drawing and price follow.
- Is the online price the final price?
- The window price is final for the specification you build. Delivery is added at checkout based on your postcode's distance from our factory, and is shown before you place the order.
