This notice explains how newupvcwindows.co.uk (operated by Inbray Limited t/a New uPVC Windows) uses cookies and similar technologies.
What we use
This Site uses strictly necessary cookies and browser storage, the minimum required for the Site to function, and, if you accept them, optional analytics cookies that help us see how the Site is used, and optional advertising cookies that help us measure Google Ads and keep ads relevant. We never sell your data.
We also set one statistics cookie of our own (nuw_ft) and some browser storage for our own statistics without asking. They are listed in the table below, and they aren't shared with Google or anyone else.
The Google tag (for Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads) loads on public pages of this Site, but it sets no analytics or advertising cookies unless you accept. Before you choose (or if you Reject), Google may still receive limited cookieless signals (for example which page you visited, basic browser information, and your IP address). Those signals are used for aggregate measurement and conversion modelling, not to identify you with a cookie.
We ask through a banner the first time you visit. You can Accept all (analytics + advertising), Accept analytics only, or Reject.

When you pay by card, the payment page is hosted by Stripe on stripe.com, which sets its own strictly necessary cookies for fraud prevention. See Stripe's privacy policy for details.
Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), but you're entitled to know about them, hence this page. Google's analytics and advertising cookies do require consent, which is why we ask before setting any of them.
Analytics
If you accept analytics (Accept all or Accept analytics only), we use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages and products people look at, so we know what to improve. It tells us things like which window styles get the most attention and where visitors drop out before ordering.
Google acts as our processor for this and may process the data outside the UK, protected by UK-approved safeguards. Analytics-only consent does not turn on advertising cookies or Google Ads conversion. We do not link analytics to your account or order on the client. We also keep our own anonymous statistics on our own server: pages viewed, time on page, where the visit came from, device type and your device's time zone. A random number (nuw_vid) is saved in this browser so later visits from the same browser can be recognised in our own admin. It is not your name, it is not a cookie, and it is not shared with Google or anyone else. Clearing this site's saved data in your browser starts a new number. Where the visit came from is kept for 24 hours in one small cookie of our own (nuw_ft), with a copy in this tab's storage (nuw_ft_v1) until you close the tab, so moving between our pages doesn't overwrite it. These are listed in the table above.
Advertising
If you choose Accept all, we also use Google Ads cookies and tags to measure whether ads led to a purchase (a purchase conversion on the order confirmation page) and to support ad personalisation features Google provides under Consent Mode. Advertising cookies stay off if you only accept analytics or if you reject.
Conversion measurement uses your order reference as a transaction id and the order total in GBP. It fires only after you have granted advertising consent.
Your choice
You can change your mind at any time: withdrawing is as easy as accepting.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Blocking the essential ones will prevent parts of the Site (such as signing in) from working; blocking analytics or advertising costs you nothing. Clearing your browser's site data will also empty your basket and reset your cookie choice, so we'll ask again.
If this changes
If we introduce further non-essential cookies beyond those described here, we will update this notice. For analytics or advertising cookies from Google or any other company, we will ask for your consent before setting them.
