Why buy windows online rather than from an installer?
A national installer's quote bundles the window, the fitting, the salesperson's commission and the company's overhead into one opaque figure, which is why the same window can be quoted at wildly different prices in the same street. Buying online splits that bundle: you pay the factory for the window and your own fitter (or yourself) for the installation. You typically save a large share of the installed price, you know exactly what specification you're getting, and there's no pressure-selling because there's nobody in your living room.

What to check before you order
- Your sizes: measure brick to brick in three places and deduct 10mm. The sizes you enter are overall sizes, including the cill if you choose one (how to measure)
- Safety glass: glass near floors and doors may need to be toughened or laminated (when it's required)
- Ventilation: most replacement windows need trickle vents under Part F (trickle vents)
- Sign-off: decide who will certify the work, either a FENSA or Certass installer, or building control if you fit them yourself (FENSA and building control)
- Delivery day: windows come kerbside on our own vehicle with a single driver, so plan who will unload (delivery)
What happens after you order
Your order goes straight to the factory with a manufacturing sheet generated from your exact design, the same drawing you built on screen. We check it within one working day, then email to confirm it with your delivery or collection date and your invoice.
Everything is made to order, typically in 5-14 working days (composite and bifold doors 15-25 working days). Frames arrive assembled with the sealed glass units packed separately: the frame is fixed into the opening unglazed, then the units go in and are toed-and-heeled, exactly how professional installers work, and our installation guide covers every step.

- You can buy made-to-measure uPVC windows online from us at New uPVC Windows. We make them at our own factory in Worsley, Salford, and sell them supply only, so you pay for the windows and not a fitting team. Prices are shown live as you design: the smallest fixed window is £45.34 and the smallest opening window is £101.46 (500 × 430mm), both including VAT. Our prices are the same for everyone, with no home visit or sales call. Delivery is extra, priced by distance, or you can collect free from the factory. - Is it safe to buy windows online?
- You're buying from Inbray Limited, a UK company incorporated in 2005, trading from Wardley Industrial Estate in Manchester. The address is on the contact page, and the company and VAT numbers are on the about page. You see the complete specification and price before ordering. Every window and uPVC door is made in our own factory in Worsley, Manchester, and aluminium bifolds are made there too, in the Sheerline Prestige system; composite doors are made to measure by Comp Door in Staffordshire.
- Do I need to be a builder to order?
- No. The designer enforces every manufacturing limit automatically, and the measuring guide is written for first-timers. Most customers are homeowners replacing their own windows or having a local joiner fit them.
- Can I save a design and come back to it?
- Your basket is saved in your browser between visits. Registered trade customers can additionally save named quotes to their account and print customer copies.
- Can I order just one window?
- Yes, there's no minimum order. Delivery is charged by distance, so a single window carries the same delivery band as a full house set to the same postcode.
- What if I want something the designer won't let me build?
- The designer blocks anything outside the system's manufacturing limits. That's deliberate. If your requirement seems outside them, contact us and we'll tell you straight whether it can be made.
