About the Fixed over Fixed over Fixed window
The Fixed over Fixed over Fixed window has three fixed panes stacked in one column, divided by two transoms. None of them open.
Because nothing opens it doesn't ventilate the room itself, but with no sashes it gives the most glass and light for its size. If the room needs background ventilation, a trickle vent can still go through the frame head. Sizes run from 300 to 2500mm wide and 930 to 2530mm high, to the millimetre; they're overall sizes including the cill, as our measuring guide explains. The frame has to be at least 900mm high to allow 300mm for each fixed pane.

Measure the opening
Measure brick to brick in three places, use the smallest figures, then take 10mm off the width and the height. That's the overall size you type into the designer, cill included. Our measuring guide shows each step.
Order and delivery
Each window is made to order in our Worsley, Manchester factory, typically in 5-14 working days. How buying works covers each step from order to delivery, and delivery and collection covers the area, prices and free collection.
Fitting

- What sizes can I order the Fixed over Fixed over Fixed window in?
- Any size from 300mm to 2500mm wide and 930mm to 2530mm high, to the millimetre. These are overall sizes: the height includes the cill, so without one the range is 900-2500mm. The frame has to be at least 900mm high to allow 300mm for each fixed pane. Our measuring guide shows how to measure the opening.
- Can a window that doesn't open have a trickle vent?
- Yes. With no opening sash, the vent goes through the frame head, and the designer recommends a 25mm frame extender on top so the vent clears the plaster line. The designer's starting spec includes one; you can remove it if the room is ventilated another way.
- How long does delivery take?
- Typically 5-14 working days. Each window is made to order in our Worsley, Manchester factory, and we confirm the delivery date by email. The frame arrives assembled; the three sealed glass units travel separately, and any cill and trickle vent come loose, ready to fit. We supply only.
